Your Modest Existence

Let me guess, you got up this morning brushed your teeth, took a shower, got dressed, got in sedan and drove to work. Spoke casually to you co- worker, did your job and went home. The mundane and redundant. Did you in engage in any stimulating conversation or do your views and opinions remain unheard. How many of your post occupational conversation start with I should have or I would have said. I find it difficult to believe that with all of the different personalities there are so few who think that they have a voice . Your silence is deafening yet your voice is defining. A state of confusion in an institution or organization regarding its nature or direction, Identity Crisis. We have become silenced by political correctness, institutionalized; to the scared to step out on a limb and be an individual. I understand that it is easier to fade into the back ground and repeat the above routine day after day but when the routine is over you are reduced to a few pictures in your grand children's scrape book. If you are lucky. I not saying lead a mutiny against corporate America, im saying stand up and stand for something AND BE HEARD.

I have a question if the foundation of our country is Christianity and God blatantly disapproves of homosexuality why do we as a country approve of it is that not hypocrisy?

Just choose your battles wisely.

Even the Bible tells us that our lives are but a vapor. Think about it, a vapor. Opaque and quickly gone. Striving for treasures, recognition, acceptance, and total peace & comfort on this earth is futile. Ther'e much more to come, but are we working towards that?

I digress, back to what you were talking about (by the way, have someone re-read your posts before you press POST, sheesh)...... ok, I'm just teasin....

This world is full of various personalities indeed, and IN those variations exist the feeble, meek, quiet, scared, yes girls and boys, gophers, followers, doormats, posers, fake wads (lol) & cringers. They exist amongst those who refuse to be status quo or the boat rockers - - - the rebels, the leaders, and the "on purpose" unique. That's what makes things work. There is a balance, well, in most cases. We all can't be alike. If there were none to lead, there would be no leaders.... If there were none to encourage... there'd be no encouragers.... If there were none to strengthen, there'd be no strong ones...If there were no listeners, there'd be no talkers..... If everyone was talking (or blogging), there'd be no listeners. Ya hearin me son?

I agree with Lethe, oops, I mean that person named Latisha. In the tall & short of it, we have to choose our battles no matter how big or small. Different things are important to different people. Being that spot in the family album may be just what some desire, while others want more. I personally have more than not--- been the rebel against status quo. I do choose my battles nonetheless, but I also raise a fist of rebellion when dealing with SOME issues involving political correctness. I'm not one for walking on egg shells and watching my words always, but if you can't take a lick, don't throw one.... guess what, everyone can't take a lick.

So, on the morrow (Lord wills), I may ask a fellow co-worker if they had sex this weekend, then again, I may simply say, "hi, how are you?" then walk away without waiting for answer. Depends.
(man, I'm long-winded)

So's life. But change is brought about by changers. So since change happens..... we know that not all people are mute and scared walking this life.

Rules are made when someone yells. Obviously, there are yellers.
